...a part of me actually hopes it is truly horrid, simply because that would show that you have, in fact, learned something from all the years I have been torturing you...
I can simpathise with you - i redid our kitchen a couple years ago. That old linoleum and glue is a real bitch to remove sometimes.

I haven't tried replacing hard floors before, but recently I did the ol' carpet removal/wood panel flooring schtick. I'd recommend it, but those wood panels can get scarred easily!
